Kawhi Leonard’s latest comeback attempt seems to have been stopped in its tracks again.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Leonard has returned to New York for rehab, and there is no timetable for his return to San Antonio.

That’s probably the end of Leonard’s regular season after nine games. The playoffs are an open question, assuming the Spurs make it in.
About a month ago, Leonard returned to San Antonio with his eyes on a March return. That obviously did not happen, and his continued absence has only fueled rumors of a rift with teammates. This will only add more conjecture and uncertainty to the equation.
