Kendrick Perkins has great response after being unfollowed by LeBron James
You certainly cannot accuse Kendrick Perkins of selling himself short.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James went on an unfollowing spree on X over the weekend, which was tracked by an account on the platform called “NBA Alerts.” Among the prominent figures James was revealed to have unfollowed was the ESPN personality Perkins.

Perkins himself responded to the development with a legendary post to his page on Saturday.
“Everybody didn’t follow Jesus, I’ll be ok,” Perkins wrote.

James and Perkins were NBA contemporaries (both were first-round picks in the 2003 draft) and were briefly teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2014-15 and 2017-18 seasons. But since joining ESPN, Perkins has often been critical of James on the air. Most recently, Perkins ripped James this week for supposedly trying to overshadow the NBA Finals with some comments about Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving, their former teammate in Cleveland.
“Here we go again, Lebron weaseling his way into somebody else’s moment…
This is not about you, Your team is at home”

Perkins as an analyst is often times hilarious and other times completely embarrassing. Now we can add comparisons to Jesus to Perkins’ greatest hits collection as well.
