Kevin Durant has yet to speak publicly about his decision to leave the Golden State Warriors and sign with the Brooklyn Nets, but he has shared a couple of subtle messages on social media since making the announcement.
The latest came in his Instagram story on Monday, when Durant shared a quote about making your own decisions and not letting anyone else think or speak for you.

Durant also shared a post that seemed to make reference to him beginning a new chapter in a third new city.
Both of those messages seemed a lot more subtle than the one Durant appeared to send to the Warriors on Sunday night. A sarcastic post on Instagram that welcomed Durant to the Nets said he would miss the entire 2019-20 season “due to Warriors incompetence,” and Durant — or someone using his account — hit the like button on it.
We all know how much Durant loves social media, so it’s no surprise he is sending cryptic messages on that platform before being formally introduced in Brooklyn.
