The situation between Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat has gotten uglier by the day, but veteran forward Kevin Love is having a blast with it.
Butler is currently away from the Heat after he was suspended for seven games for conduct detrimental to the team. The punishment stemmed from Butler making it clear both publicly and privately that he wants to be traded. There was also a recent stretch of play where team officials reportedly felt Butler was giving less than full effort.
Throughout the saga, Love has been sharing hilarious videos on Instagram that are clearly directed toward his teammate. After Butler formally requested a trade, Love posted a clip from the music video to “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye” by Boyz II Men.

Love then shared a hilarious graphic depicting him, Butler, Tyler Herro and Kyle Lowry as the members of Boyz II Men. The Heat traded Lowry last season.

Love was just getting started. He also shared a couple of videos from “The Godfather.” The most recent was in response to a report that the Heat expect Butler to rejoin the team if he remains on the roster after his suspension is up.

Love and Butler probably have a solid relationship. Otherwise, we doubt Love would risk trolling Butler when there is a chance that the two will remain teammates through at least the end of the season.
If Love is doing his own social media management, he should probably give himself a raise.
