The New York Knicks may have themselves a draft target at No. 9 overall.
According to Ian Begley of ESPN, members of the Knicks organization were “very impressed” with Kentucky forward Kevin Knox after working him out last Saturday.
In a potential indication of their interest, the Knicks also asked Knox if he had workouts scheduled with any teams drafting ahead of them.

Knox’s draft stock is clearly on the rise, and teams seem to be impressed with him during workouts. He may not be the Knicks’ first choice, given how they’ve reacted to one likely top pick. However, that option may not be on the board for them, making Knox a realistic option that wouldn’t involve them having to trade up.
