Kyrie Irving leaves Game 1 in pain, limps off court (Video)

Kyrie Irving tried to tough his way through Game 1 of the NBA Finals despite his knee injury, but he left during overtime in extreme pain.

Irving played 44 minutes and posted 23 points, 7 rebounds and six assists in the 108-100 overtime loss, and he even came up with a huge block at the end of regulation. But he hurt himself badly in OT when he slipped, and he left the floor. It wasn’t until he got off the court that he showed his true pain and feeling by slamming his jersey in frustration.

Irving was clearly limping and now you have to wonder about his status for Game 2. Luckily he has three days before Sunday’s game, but the way he looked after leaving the floor makes you question whether he’ll be able to contribute next game. If he does give it a go, he’ll be much less than 100 percent.
