LeBron James memorialized late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant with a tribute tattoo.
LeBron shared two photo on his Instagram account Friday. The first photo shows James leaning against Kobe. The second photo featured James’ tattoo. The tattoo features a Black Mamba snake, Kobe’s numbers 8 and 24, and a rose. It says “Mamba 4 Life” underneath it.
Though the two were marketed as rivals by Nike when they played against each other, James and Bryant were actually close. Bryant was supportive of LeBron signing with the Lakers and congratulated James on passing him on the all-time scoring list.
James has already vowed to carry on Kobe’s legacy.
