Free agency is upcoming in the NBA, which means it’s time for billboards to go up in Los Angeles recruiting free agents. And that’s just what’s happened.
LA Times Clippers reporter Andrew Greif posted photos on Twitter Sunday night of two billboards in Los Angeles recruiting Kawhi to the Clippers. One changes the “King of the North” moniker to “King of Socal.” The hashtag for that one is “Kawhi2LAC”. The next one is a California license plate that says “Kawhi” on it with hashtag “ClipperNation” at the bottom.

Leonard is from Southern California and has long been believed to favor a return home in free agency, with the Clippers reportedly being his preferred team over the Lakers. Leonard is fresh off winning an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors and believed to be strongly considering a return to Toronto.
A three-time All-Star, Leonard has won two championships and two NBA Finals MVPs in his career, one with Toronto and the other with San Antonio.
