Is Mark Jackson still bitter about how certain things went down during his tenure as Golden State head coach? You bet he is.
Jackson weighed in on the D’Angelo Russell saga and took the opportunity to jab at his former Golden State assistant, Darren Erman.

“The good news for him,” Jackson said of Russell, “is he very well one day could be an associate head coach in this league.”
Jackson was referencing Erman, a former Warriors assistant who was fired after secretly recording Jackson. The former coach clearly has a long memory.
Russell, of course, is currently embroiled in drama over a leaked tape of Nick Young. If he ever ends up an associate coach, well, it probably means he had a decent career and rehabilitated his image, so he’ll probably take that.
