Matt Barnes goes off on $25,000 fine for inappropriate language toward fan
During the second quarter of Sunday’s game between the Clippers and Suns, Matt Barnes was whistled for an offensive foul. Afterward, a fired up Barnes had a few words with a fan, which earned him a technical foul.
On Tuesday, Barnes received a $25,000 fine for “inappropriate language toward a fan”, which did not sit well with him at all. Upon being notified, Barnes took to his Twitter account and let a series of tweets fly. Among them, the veteran says the “fan” was Suns owner Robert Sarver, who allegedly cussed at Barnes.

Whether Sarver was the instigator in the incident or not remains to be seen. In the meantime, we have mental pictures of Matt Barnes working at a Costco to hold us over.
