Watch: Nets fans troll Celtics with Kyrie Irving chant
Brooklyn Nets fans were ruthless on Monday night.
The Nets were blowing out the Boston Celtics early in the fourth quarter of their game. Fans at Barclays Center started chanting “Kyrie’s leaving” while Brooklyn held a 25-point lead.

Boston had won four in a row at home, but now they’ve lost three in a row on the road to fall to 25-18 on the season. They had some squabbling between teammates during their loss to Orlando, with Kyrie having issues with the younger players. Then he sat out Monday’s game due to a quad injury.
As flattering as this may be for Kyrie, he should know that this is nothing new for Nets fans, who have a habit of similar behavior. Irving can opt of his contract and become a free agent after the season but has said he wants to re-sign with the Celtics.
