Report: Cavaliers not firing Ty Lue
Ty Lue’s job as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers is said to be safe despite his team’s recent struggles.
The Cavaliers got blown out by the Houston Rockets at home on national TV Saturday and have been defeated in 12 of their last 18 games. They were even booed during the game against Houston:

The Cavs may be considering different strategies for turning things around, but one move that reportedly will not be made is firing Lue.
“We are not firing our head coach,” a Cavaliers official told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Lue took over the Cavaliers during the 2015-16 season and helped them win a championship that season. Last year they reached the Finals before losing to the Warriors. This time around, it’s not so certain that the Cavaliers will even make the Finals as they have the past three seasons.
They could look to improve via a trade, but it doesn’t sound like they’re willing to sacrifice their future to do so.
