Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has already ruled out his star player for the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Kerr said Sunday there was “no way” Stephen Curry would be ready to go for the first round of the playoffs in mid-April.

It’s understandable. Curry has an MCL sprain, and while not extremely serious, the three week re-evaluation timetable he was given would be right around the playoff opener. Even if he’s cleared to begin basketball activities, he’ll have to get back into the swing of things before he’s tossed into game action. While this will undoubtedly make things more difficult, logically, the Warriors should be able to handle the first round without him.
