Suns DJ had savage response to Steve Kerr’s complaint about Footprint Center
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr recently expressed his annoyance about the music at the Phoenix Suns’ home arena. The Suns had no plans to appease the rival coach.
Kerr’s Warriors lost 123-115 to the Suns two weeks ago at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
After the game, Kerr went on a rant about how loud the music was at the Suns’ home arena. The Warriors coach harped on the importance of communication on the court — something that he believes was disrupted by the club-like atmosphere at Footprint.
“In [the Footprint Center], you can’t hear anything. It’s like a club. It’s like a South Beach club out there. What are we doing? I’m being dead serious. I couldn’t hear anything out there. … It’s just this thumping techno club music. Can’t we just have a basketball game anymore? What the hell?” Kerr said.

With the next Suns-Warriors game looming, the Suns’ in-arena DJ might have just previewed his diss track directed at Kerr. The Suns’ DJ sampled a part of Kerr’s rant and turned it into “techno club music” during the team’s Friday game against the Sacramento Kings.

The Suns and Warriors face off again Tuesday at Footprint Center. It won’t be surprising to hear the arena music on full blast just to spite Kerr during the contest.
