Things got heated at times between Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier and his Milwaukee Bucks counterpart Eric Bledsoe during the East quarterfinals, but there was mutual praise after the series concluded.
Rozier’s Celtics won game 7, but he had praise for Bledsoe, who scored 23 points in the losing effort.
“You have two guys that want to win, two chippy guys, two short point guards,” Rozier said, via Chris Forsberg of ESPN. “If it takes for us to go back and forth, jaw back and forth, battle, push each other, that’s part of the game. We talked after the game.”

Bledsoe concurred.
“I mean, it’s the playoffs,” the Bucks guard said. “What, you expect us to be out there shaking hands, giving out hugs the whole time? S— ain’t gonna happen. He had a helluva series, man. I’ve got to take my hat off to him.”
Rozier and Bledsoe’s playoff rivalry included an on-court scuffle and plenty of off-the-court trolling. They may not be on good terms, but there’s mutual respect.
