TNT trolled Lakers so hard during halftime of their latest loss
TNT was definitely enjoying the Los Angeles Lakers’ latest disaster.
The Lakers fell behind by 15 points to the Dallas Mavericks at the end of the first half on Tuesday. As TNT led into their halftime show, they played the song “It’s Over” by rapper Kurupt featuring Natina Reed.
Social media definitely took note of the savage song choice, a coup de grace of sorts to the Lakers’ brutal season.
TNT REALLY DID THIS AT HALFTIME! Fck 🤣 LIKE THIS SONG 🤣 THEY HATE US 💜💛 pic.twitter.com/D5pHct5JLk

TNT really playing "It's Over" by Kurupt at halftime of this Lakers – Mavs game and that's wild flagrant.

To their credit, the Lakers briefly made TNT look like fools in the second half. They came roaring back and even recaptured the lead before the end of the third quarter. But the Mavericks wrestled control right back and ended up winning 109-104 on the heels of a late 15-4 run.
At 27-34, the Lakers are now in danger of missing the play-in tournament entirely. The “It’s Over” troll job might not even be the most cold-blooded one the Lakers have gotten this season either.
