Trae Young had savage trash talk for New York fans after beating Knicks
Trae Young continues to be New York City’s biggest opp.
The Atlanta Hawks star Young helped lead his team to a big home victory over the Knicks on Wednesday. He finished with a 23-6-10 line and also got some help from teammates Zaccharie Risacher (33 points) and Jalen Johnson (23 points and 15 rebounds) as the Hawks won 121-116.
During his postgame interview after the final buzzer, Young took some time to address the Knicks fans who had made the trip to Atlanta’s State Farm Arena for the game.
“I hope these New York fans find their way to the exits real, real quick,” said Young. “Boo! Take y’all a– home!”
Here is the funny video (but watch out for the language).

Young obviously has plenty of history with Knicks fans. The Hawks and the Knicks met for a memorable first-round playoff series in 2021, and Young did a whole lot of things to clown the Knicks faithful as the Hawks took the series in five games. Young later returned to Madison Square Garden for a WWE cameo and received just as harsh of a reception. Since then, there have been plenty of other incidents between Young and Knicks fans too.
The three-time All-Star Young remains one of the NBA’s great trolls, and he was more than happy to hand the L to the Knicks fans who traveled all the way to Atlanta on Wednesday hoping (in vain) to see some revenge.
