Adrien Broner arrested again for failure to appear in court
Adrien Broner is preparing for his big fight against Manny Pacquiao that will take place in less than a month, but it sounds like he has some more legal trouble to sort out first.
Broner, who is certainly no stranger to run-ins with the law, was arrested earlier this month over a warrant that was issued stemming from him failing to appear in court. According to TMZ, the court appearance had to do with Broner’s December 2017 arrest for driving without a license, speeding and having no proof of insurance. He was also arrested back in July for failing to show up to a court date related to the same case.
Court records show that Broner was booked by county jail and released.
TMZ reported recently that Broner is also being sued by a jeweler over a balance of more than $1 million that he supposedly has not paid. While he has a big payday coming after his Jan. 19 fight against Pacquiao, the jeweler claims Broner already ducked out on a bill in the past after a big bout.
Broner has been arrested and sued multiple times, and some of the allegations against him are quite disturbing. Despite that, the 29-year-old was still able to land the big fight with Pacquiao.
