Watch: Gennady Golovkin wrecks Steve Rolls with big knockout
Gennady Golovkin did to Steve Rolls exactly what he was supposed to do.
GGG knocked out Rolls in the fourth round of their middleweight fight at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday night with a huge left hand. Twice during the 20 seconds before the knockout, Golovkin cracked Rolls with overhand shots that left the Canadian fighter wobbly. GGG then put the finishing touches on with a huge left that kept Rolls down for the count.

Rolls tried to get up off the canvas but was incoherent and couldn’t stand up to beat the 10-count, ending the fight.
Golovkin improves to 39-1-1 with 35 knockouts, while Rolls has suffered his first career loss.
This bout was the first of a six-fight deal Golovkin signed with DAZN. He is expected to face Canelo Alvarez next to complete their trilogy.
