UConn senior guard Azzi Fudd was outstanding in the women’s NCAA Tournament national championship game on Sunday, and her mother wore the perfect T-shirt for the occasion.
Fudd matched Sarah Strong with a team-high 24 points in UConn’s 82-59 win over South Carolina at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. She added 5 rebounds and played well defensively with a game-high 3 steals.
Fudd’s parents, Katie and Tim Fudd, were shown multiple times during the ESPN broadcast. Katie was wearing a T-shirt that had a hilarious message on it — “Fudd Around and Find Out.”

Other fans were seen wearing the same shirt while they watched the 2-seed Huskies dominate 1-seed South Carolina.

Fudd averaged 13.3 points per game during the regular season. She averaged 17.5 points per game during the NCAA Tournament and elevated her play, which is a big reason why UConn head coach Geno Auriemma captured his record 12th national title. Fudd was named the 2025 Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
Between Fudd’s mom’s shirt and the Paige Bueckers sign we saw, Huskies supporters really showed out for their team on Sunday.
