Kiyan Anthony is making his final cuts.

Retired 10-time All-Star Carmelo Anthony appeared this week on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” During the appearance, Carmelo revealed that his son Kiyan is now down to two finalists for his college commitment. They are Syracuse and USC.

Carmelo also said that Kiyan will reveal his decision on “7 PM in Brooklyn,” the podcast co-hosted by Carmelo, next week.

The 17-year-old Kiyan is a shooting guard who is a consensus four-star recruit. Son of Carmelo and ex-wife La La, Kiyan had six colleges on his list over the summer and then narrowed it down to three colleges last month.

USC is an increasingly popular destination for recruits and has already played home in recent years to other second-generation players like Bronny James and DJ Rodman. But Syracuse has to be the frontrunner for Kiyan’s services since he currently goes to Christ The King in Queens, N.Y. and also since Carmelo notably starred for the Orange, helping lead them to the national championship in 2003. Kiyan is well worth the hype too considering what we have seen over the last several months.
