Colorado athletic director Mike Bohn flew out 50 members of the school’s student section on the team’s charter plane out to Los Angeles for Pac-12 Tournament. It only made sense for him to feed them, too.
After the sixth-seeded Buffaloes surprised the conference and clinched their first Pac-12 tournament title with a 53-51 win over Arizona in Saturday’s championship, Bohn organized three charter buses to take any student who made it down for the game to a nearby In-N-Out Burger in celebration. In the end, Bohn reportedly picked up the tab — all $600 of it.
So does this mean CU students are going to get treated to someplace spendy like Ruth’s Chris if the Buffs shock the nation and cut down the nets in New Orleans?
