Eric Musselman gives great interview after Arkansas knocks off Gonzaga
Eric Musselman is known for being both a winning coach and very charismatic. He showed off both traits on Thursday night.
Musselman’s Arkansas Razorbacks eliminated No. 1 seed Gonzaga from March Madness, beating them 74-68 in the West Region semifinals in San Francisco, Calif.
The Hogs didn’t have the best offensive night, but they forced the Bulldogs into 15 turnovers and just 37.5 percent shooting.
Musselman said after the game that being the underdog really helped motivate his team. He says they read all the press saying they couldn’t win.
“We believed today. Nobody else did. We read everything. We put it up on our screen every single meal. Thank you to everybody who said we had no chance,” Musselman said in his postgame interview on CBS.

Sometimes the motivation of being an underdog can be a huge difference-maker. That appears to have been the case for Arkansas against Gonzaga.
They’re now in the Elite Eight for the second straight year. They won’t be considered underdogs for very much longer.
