Jabari Parker put on a show in his first primetime game against a major opponent.
The highly-touted freshman made four 3-pointers in the first half and had 21 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and a block in the first 30 minutes for Duke against Kansas on Tuesday. He also threw down a sweet one-handed alley-oop that shattered your TV, in the words of my cousin.
CBS Sports’ Will Brinson also shared a picture comparing Parker’s alley-oop to a dunk by former Duke star Grant Hill:
If Parker ends up with an NBA career similar to Hill’s, he’ll be doing quite well for himself. Right now, he’s looking like he’s going to live up to his billing as one of the top recruits in the country.
