NC State AD makes strong case for Wolfpack as huge snub
NC State was among the biggest snubs in this year’s NCAA Tournament and was left “disappointed” with the selection committee.
Wolfpack athletic director Debbie Yow sent a statement defending the basketball team’s credentials. She cited their NET ranking (33), Ken Pom (32), BPI (26), and Sagarin (24) as part of the reasons they should have been included in the tourney.
Here’s the statement:

TCU coach Jamie Dixon was similarly disappointed, though the Horned Frogs had less of a case.
Most of the numbers seem to confirm that NC State, along with Clemson, was better than other teams that made it in as at-large selections.
