Interestingly, the Memphis staff is becoming a hotbed of potential collegiate coaches.
Van Exel has a year of experience as a G League head coach, and has worked at the college level as an assistant for Texas Southern a decade ago. He has been a Memphis assistant since 2016. He obviously knows the Cincinnati program well, but his inexperience could be a risk.
