Will Wade reinstated by LSU after investigation
Will Wade is returning to LSU as head coach after being cleared by the school’s investigation.
In a statement released Sunday night, LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said that, without any actual evidence, Wade’s answers to the school’s questions “satisfy his contractual obligation to LSU” and he has been reinstated effective immediately.

Wade was originally suspended after a report stated he’d been caught on a wiretap discussing an “offer” to a recruit. That appears to be the only evidence working against Wade, and the university is clearly satisfied with the answers he gave when they sat down to speak with him.
