Baker Mayfield was not happy about being nailed with a late hit from Julian Rochester in the third quarter of the Rose Bowl on Monday.
Mayfield was tackled and on the ground during Oklahoma’s second-to-last possession of the third quarter. While on the ground, he was nailed in the side by a knee from Georgia’s Rochester:

Though some felt it was a late hit, Rochester was actually pushed into Mayfield. ESPN still reported that Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley was upset about what he thought was a late hit.
