Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law does not appear to be a big fan of Jordon Hudson.
Jennifer Schmitt, the wife of Belichick’s son Stephen, made a critical comment about Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend in an Instagram comment Wednesday. The comment came on a video from Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman’s “Dudes on Dudes” podcast, in which the two former Patriots argued that the controversy from Belichick’s “CBS Sunday Morning” interview had been blown out of proportion.
Comedian Nikki Glaser posted a comment agreeing with that assertion, arguing that Hudson was acting in her role as Belichick’s publicist when she jumped in to shut down a question about her relationship with Belichick. Schmitt, however, was not buying that.
“Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” Schmitt wrote.

Nikki Glaser defended Hudson and Bill’s son Steve Belichick’s wife, Jen, replied:

Schmitt has since set her Instagram to private.
Notably, Steve Belichick is serving as his father’s defensive coordinator at North Carolina. That could suggest that Schmitt is privy to information about Hudson’s role within the program, which has come under scrutiny recently.
Regardless, Schmitt does not seem to be a fan of Hudson. The comment comes in the wake of a series of unflattering reports about Hudson allegedly derailing the CBS interview. Belichick accused CBS of straying from a list of agreed topics and selectively editing the interview to make Hudson look bad, assertions that CBS disputed.
Schmitt’s commentary should not be taken as an indication of how the rest of Belichick’s family feels about his relationship with Hudson and her influence over him. However, it is certainly notable to see a close family member willing to be publicly critical of Hudson’s behavior.
