Cincinnati trolls UCF with tweet after pulling off win
The Cincinnati Bearcats beat UCF 27-24 on Friday night to hand the Knights their second loss of the season. They added insult to defeat with a trolling tweet after the win.
The Cincinnati Football Twitter account sent a tweet containing the final score of the game. They polished it off by saying “this tweet is real.”
Sorry @UCF_Football…
this tweet is real.#Bearcats pic.twitter.com/XvkbHluKEf— Cincinnati Football (@GoBearcatsFB) October 5, 2019
What’s the background? After going undefeated in the 2017 season, UCF proclaimed themselves to be national champions and even took a trip to celebrate their “national championship.” Most people did not view their “national championship” as real, which is why the Bearcats wrote “this tweet is real.”
Cincinnati also had this tweet:
FINAL:
Cincinnati 27

UCF is now 4-2 on the season. They also lost to Pitt two weeks ago.
