Clemson gets good news on Hunter Renfrow injury
Clemson wide receiver Hunter Renfrow seems to have escaped serious injury after hitting his head on the turf hard on Saturday.
During Clemson’s Senior Day blowout of Duke, Renfrow hit his head on the turf when going to the ground trying to make a catch. He left the game in the second quarter to be evaluated for a head injury and did not return.

Clemson assistant coach Jeff Scott said after the game that Renfrow was still being evaluated, but likely could have come back in the game if needed.

That would seem to indicate that the Tigers are optimistic about Renfrow’s prognosis. The team plays a winnable home game against South Carolina next week, and they could probably win that without him before the ACC title game in two weeks.
