Jake Fromm announces he will enter NFL Draft

Jake Fromm

The 2020 NFL Draft class is already well stocked with talented quarterbacks, and it got even better on Wednesday.

Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm has announced that he will forego his senior season and enter the draft.

Fromm was a three-year starter at Georgia. He completed over 63 percent of his passes for 8,236 yards, 78 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. The Bulldogs went 36-7 during that span with wins in the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl, including their win in the Sugar Bowl this year over Baylor.

While Fromm is unlikely to be drafted in the first round with Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Jacob Eason and Justin Herbert in the same class, he could be taken as early as the second round. He’s a talented passer who, like Tagovailoa and Burrow, went up against some of the toughest competition in the country during his college career. That will only help his stock with NFL teams.
