New names continue to pop up as the Kansas Jayhawks search for a new football coach.
According to Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports, Graham and the Jayhawks have mutual interest. Graham, an experienced head coach with a record of success, is very much in line with what Kansas athletic director Jeff Long is looking for in a coach.
Graham most recently coached at Arizona State, where he posted a pair of ten-win seasons. He did not coach in 2018. He has a reputation as an excellent offensive coach who can also recruit, which Kansas hopes might make it competitive in the Big 12.
Graham is far from the only candidate for the job, and Kansas isn’t rushing through the process. It may be some time yet before we know who David Beaty’s replacement is, but the school is certainly targeting some pretty big names.
