Logan Tuley-Tillman received death threats from Ohio State fans after burning letter

Logan Tuley-Tillman now knows just how intense the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry can be. The Michigan commit said he’s been receiving death threats from scorned Ohio State fans after he posted a photo of him burning a recruitment letter from the Buckeyes. He shouldn’t have expected any less.

“There have been a couple death threats,” the Peoria, Ill., O-lineman told Dr. Saturday. “And they’ve been sending my mom messages on Facebook. I just told her you can’t listen to it because it’s one of the biggest rivalries in sports.”

Tuley-Tillman says the reception from Ohio State fans has damaged his opinion on the school, which is still trying to woo him to the Scarlet and Gray. But it hasn’t been limited to a handful of trolls on the Internet. Tuley-Tillman said he also was treated similarly on a recent excursion to Columbus, a trip during which he wore a Michigan hat.

“I was up there and the fans were cussing me out and they were saying ‘[expletive] you’ and stuff like that while I was walking through the mall,” he said. “It wasn’t like in my face. They were like saying things and then would power walk away. One of them actually threw something at me, but it didn’t hit me. So, that’s how it started.”

Seriously, I don’t know if this kid is shocked or what. He keeps egging on OSU fans with anti-OSU imagery. What is he expecting?

Anyway, how about Ohio State fans just stop interacting with recruits altogether. Clearly, it’s not helping any.
