Louisville to wear uniforms honoring Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali is one of the most famous and influential people to ever come from Louisville, and the city’s football team is planning to honor the late boxer with its uniforms during this weekend’s game.
On Tuesday, the University of Louisville shared a preview of the uniforms its football team will wear on Saturday when they host Boston College. They feature a color scheme that is similar to the trunks Ali wore in addition to arched lettering which matches the back of the champion’s famous robe.

We have seen prominent figures from all of the major sports honor Ali since his death in 2016, and it’s nice to see Louisville keeping it going more than three years later.
The Cardinals fell to 2-2 with a loss at Florida State last weekend. BC is 3-2 and also coming off a loss against Wake Forest.
