Miami QB Jarren Williams suspended, did not travel to VT for game
Miami Hurricanes quarterback Jarren Williams was suspended and did not travel with the team for its game on Saturday at Virginia Tech.
Williams’ suspension was for a violation of an undisclosed team rule, the Sun Sentinel’s Christy Chirinos says.
Can now confirm this report…Jarren Williams is not in Blacksburg after violating a team rule.
Williams is the third UM quarterback to be suspended this season. https://t.co/v93lbFIUkG

We're told tardiness was an issue with Jarren. Time management has been problem for N'Kosi. Both have had minor missteps beyond what suspended for.

Williams, a freshman, has only appeared briefly in the team’s 77-0 win over Savannah State. He is third on the depth chart behind N’Kosi Perry and Malik Rosier, both of whom have struggled as Miami’s quarterback situation has held them back throughout the season.
Williams was a highly-recruited 4-star quarterback who chose Miami over Ohio State, among others. He also had offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, to name a few.
