Michigan trolls ESPN reporter Darren Rovell after comeback win
Michigan’s social media team took a shot at ESPN’s Darren Rovell after the Wolverines’ comeback win over Northwestern on Saturday.
Northwestern jumped out to a 17-0 lead before Michigan rallied to score the final 20 points of the game and win. Given how much Northwestern dominated early on and Harbaugh’s record when trailing by 17 points, the Wildcats seemed like a lock.
No. 14 Michigan trailed 17-0 in the 2nd quarter against Northwestern.
Michigan has come back to win from down 17+ points just 5 times in school history. As a college head coach, Jim Harbaugh is 0-31 when his teams have trailed by 17+ points (0-3 at Michigan). pic.twitter.com/JHc7OfzFwp

So when Michigan pulled things out, Northwestern fans were heartbroken. Among those disappointed was Rovell, ESPN’s sports business reporter and a Northwestern alum, who had this to say.
I feel sick.

Rovell is known for tweeting business-related tidbits at perhaps in opportune times. Michigan gave Rovell a dose of his own medicine after the game.
What would it cost your employer in lost productivity if you had to call-in sick this week, Darren? #GoBlue https://t.co/kpfWyq4Psg

That’s an A+ troll job if we’ve ever seen one.
