Missouri coach offers positive update on Kelly Bryant injury news
Missouri’s football coach offered a positive update on the injury status of quarterback Kelly Bryant, who exited the Tigers’ 42-10 win over Troy due to a left leg injury on Saturday.
Bryant was the victim of a dirty and late hit from a Troy defender, who dove into the Tigers quarterback’s left leg after a touchdown pass late in the second quarter.
Kelly Bryant just threw a TD to put Mizzou up 42-7 on Troy and this happened to his left knee as he got hit late.

Bryant did not return to the game and was on crutches in the second half.
There was obvious concern about the extent of the injury. Missouri coach Barry Odom suggested after the game that the early report from the doctors was “pretty good.”
UPDATE: Coach Odom says postgame that doctors “gave a pretty good report early on” for Kelly Bryant’s leg injury, but waiting to hear more after further evaluation.
