Touchdown Jesus was on Notre Dame’s sidelines Saturday.
The Fighting Irish came back to beat Virginia thanks to a 39-yard miracle touchdown pass by DeShone Kizer to Will Fuller with 12 seconds left in the game. The Irish went up 32-27 on the score and then added a two-point conversion to make it 34-27, which ended up being the final score.
For the Irish, this was a nail-biter compared to last week’s cruise over Texas 38-3. Kizer went 8/12 for 92 yards and two touchdowns in relief of Malik Zaire, who left the game with what appears to be a serious injury.
Sorry, Virginia fans.
