Referees miss blatant holding penalty on LSU touchdown pass
Auburn and LSU fans will have plenty of complaints to make about the officials in Saturday’s game between the teams.
LSU scored its lone touchdown of the first half on a 20-yard pass from Joe Burrow to Terrace Marshall Jr. early in the second quarter. CBS showed a replay and pointed out there was a blatant holding by Austin Deculus that the referees missed.
LSU #76 blatant holding on the touchdown throw and you can find him holding on every single play. Awful officiating against auburn again today (surprise!). @SEC #AUBvsLSU pic.twitter.com/yBFNdVtBO9

Auburn was called for 9 penalties for 55 yards in the first half, compared to 6 for 53 for LSU. That was a definite penalty by LSU that the officials missed.
Auburn came back and scored a few possessions later to take the lead before LSU tied things at 10 before the half.
