USC defensive lineman Claude Pelon was conducting an interview with reporter Shotgun Spratling from Trojans fan site Conquest Chronicles after the team’s victory over Arizona Saturday night and was pulled away after about a minute.
No, it wasn’t a member of the school’s media relations department telling him to go; it was head coach Steve Sarkisian.
Watch the video below and beware the language at the end has a curse word.
While Sarkisian did speak with the media after the game, he wanted to round up his players so they could get out of Tucson at a reasonable time. The game started at 7:30 p.m. and didn’t end til extremely late in the evening. Sark probably also wanted to get his players away from potentially angry fans given the way the Wildcats lost on a last-second field goal. But just hearing him say, “Let’s go! We ain’t got time for that s—, let’s go!” was just priceless.
You got that, Pelon?
