Report: Tee Martin in talks about joining Tennessee staff
Tennessee made a major move on Tuesday when they hired Jim Chaney away from Georgia to be their offensive coordinator. They might not be done adding to their coaching staff.
According to radio host Trey Wallace, Tee Martin has been in talks with Jeremy Pruitt about potentially joining the Vols’ coaching staff.
Sources close to the situation tonight tell me that Jeremy Pruitt & Tee Martin have had conversations over the last few days regarding Martin possibly joining the Tennessee staff.
The hiring of Jim Chaney was key in these discussions. #Vols @FOXSportsKnox

Martin played college ball at Tennessee and led the Vols to the national championship in the 1998 season. He went into coaching in 2006 and had been at USC since 2012 until being fired.
The former quarterback often serves as a wide receivers coach and is recognized as a strong recruiter.
Tennessee went 5-7 in Pruitt’s first year on the job. They seem to be on track for a turnaround in the SEC.
