Tua Tagovailoa has yet to announce whether he will enter the NFL Draft or return to Alabama for his senior season, but he may have dropped some pretty strong hints during the College Football Playoff semifinal on Saturday.
Tagovailoa had cryptic posts on Instagram and Snapchat, both of which got Crimson Tide fans excited. One was a photo of him in his Alabama uniform that said “Gimme some time to be continued.” The other simply read “patience…” with a photo of Tagovailoa’s helmet from Alabama.

If those weren’t hints that Tagovailoa is leaning toward returning for his senior season, Bama fans are not going to be pleased.
Playing another year in college would be extremely risky for Tagovailoa, as he could suffer another significant injury. However, the risk could pay off if he remains healthy and plays at a high level again. Tagovailoa was once considered a lock to go in the top five of the draft and possibly as high as No. 1, and his stock would climb back to that level if he remained healthy and lit it up in his senior season.
Tagovailoa may have recently given an indication of which way he is leaning, but nothing is official yet. Alabama fans probably can’t take much more of the guessing game.
