Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is apparently past his knee issues.
Tagovailoa said Monday his knee was “100 percent” and he didn’t even need a knee brace anymore, but continued to wear it at the insistence of the team as a precaution.
Tua Tagovailoa: “I’m 100 percent on my knee. … A lot of guys on my team, I ask them if they want the knee brace because I don’t need it.”
He added that he keeps wearing it because the team wants to keep him safe.

Tagovailoa has been dealing with a knee sprain for the bulk of the month. It hasn’t seemed to impact him at any point, and the fact that the Crimson Tide are fresh off a bye week can only help him as he gears up for a big game against LSU.
