Washington mocks Myles Jack’s finger licking TD celebration (Video)
Long before the Washington Huskies were blown out by UCLA at home on Saturday, one player decided to do a little smack-talking.
Following a Cyler Miles touchdown run to make it 14-10 Bruins in the second quarter — the closest margin of the entire game — a Huskies player ran by by the FOX TV cameras and did a finger lick. That’s the same celebration Washington native Myles Jack did last year after scoring a touchdown against his hometown Huskies.
During the week before Saturday’s game, Jack was asked about his finger-licking celebration and called it “immature.”
“That was just emotion, like you saw last week,” Jack said. “It was immature, looking back on it. My emotions were running high and I felt it was appropriate.”
Jack said he would be pumped up for the game and he was. He later made it 28-10 with an awesome, must-see touchdown run, and the Bruins got the last laugh with a 44-30 win.
