The NBA All-Star Game didn’t just have all-star talent on the basketball court — it also had top-level musical talent to entertain the crowd. While Ne-Yo got things started before the game, Alicia Keys handled the halftime duties.
Keys, fresh off performing the national anthem at the Super Bowl, began playing “Empire State of Mind” on her piano and then moved on to “Girl on Fire.” Keys progressed on to her hit song “No One,” and closed her set with “New Day.”
It will be tough for any performer to match the way Beyonce lit it up at halftime of the Super Bowl, but the 14-time Grammy winner more than held her own.
