Team Rodgers appears to run way deeper than Team Jennings.
Ex-Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings made comments this week tearing into quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Jennings called out Rodgers for being “a very selfish guy” and aired out his other grievances with the four-time MVP.
Former Packers fullback John Kuhn then responded to Jennings’ comments on Twitter.
“But @GregJennings, you were that guy,” Kuhn wrote matter-of-factly.
Kuhn was teammates with Rodgers in Green Bay for nine seasons from 2007 to 2015. Jennings was on the team for six of those seasons. Kuhn’s opinion here also matters because he was a widely-respected Packer who made three Pro Bowls in Green Bay and was part of their Super Bowl-winning team in 2010.
We already heard one of Rodgers’ current teammates rip Jennings over the critical comments. Now we are getting the same opinion from a guy who was actually on the Packers when both Rodgers and Jennings were on the team.
