Adam Gase anticipates Ryan Tannehill returning and starting in 2018
Unsurprisingly, the Miami Dolphins are ready to go back to Ryan Tannehill as their starting quarterback in 2018.
Coach Adam Gase confirmed Wednesday that Tannehill is penciled in as the starter next season, with the expectation that he will be fully recovered from the knee injury that cost him 2017.

Tannehill hurt his knee in preseason and never played for Miami in 2017, which led to the signing of Jay Cutler as a one-year stopgap. They had always planned to go back to Tannehill once he was healthy enough to return, and a middling season from both Cutler and the team as a whole will have done nothing to change their minds on that.
