Report: AJ Green expected to undergo season-ending surgery
AJ Green’s season appears to be over.
Green returned to action on Sunday after missing the team’s previous three games with a lingering toe injury. But he suffered a non-contact injury to his right foot and was carted off the field early in the Cincinnati Bengals’ loss to Denver on Sunday.
Now ESPN’s Adam Schefter says Green is expected to undergo season-ending surgery on his problematic toe/foot. He’s expected to be ready for OTAs next year.
Bengals' WR A.J. Green is expected to undergo season-ending surgery on the torn ligaments in his toe that will sideline him 3-4 months, but he is expected to have a full recovery and be ready for OTAs, per source.

Green’s 2018 season will end with him catching 46 passes for 694 yards and 6 touchdowns in 9 games. This is the fewest amount of games he’s played in during any one season in his career.
The seasons of Andy Dalton and Green are coming to an end a week apart.
