Aqib Talib returning from ankle injury to play against Lions
The Los Angeles Rams have managed to lose just one game this season despite being without one of their best defensive backs for the majority of it, and the return of Aqib Talib will be a welcome sight on Sunday.
Rams head coach Sean McVay confirmed to reporters on Thursday that Talib, who underwent surgery after suffering an ankle injury in Week 3, will play a limited role against the Detroit Lions this weekend.
#Rams coach Sean McVay says they anticipate Aqib Talib playing Sunday vs. #Lions. How much he plays is TBD. Did a good job in practice yesterday, gained more confidence as it progressed.

Talib was one of the biggest offseason acquisitions the Rams made, and he and Marcus Peters were expected to be one of the best cornerback tandems in football. If they can live up to that billing down the stretch, L.A. will be even more dangerous.
